So-called GPS data makes it easy to determine precisely where a photo was taken. Not only will this information reveal where a family picture has been taken, you can also use it to track travel routes, record the locations of flora and fauna or to locate a building. Microsoft Pro Photo Tools enhance pictures very visually. The program allocates them to locations on a virtual map or satellite photos. You can zoom into and out of the map at your discretion. You can capture GPS data in two different ways. You either have to have a supplementary device that receives the coordinates via satellite. Or you simply place your own digital photos onto the virtual map provided by  Pro Photo Tools. If you do the latter, your coordinates will be saved automatically. There are some other unique features that distinguish this GPS software from other solutions of this type: according to the manufacturer, the numeric GPS coordinates are translated into actual city names. The view of landscapes from a bird's eye perspective is particularly beautiful, because it is more detailed and more three dimensional than the satellite view. The solution even supports some raw formats. However, before you can get the installation data from the Internet, you will have to go through a validation check. Moreover, you will have to have the .NET Framework in a version that is more recent than Version 3 on your computer. It is also available as a free download from Microsoft.
